Libraries and plugins
Reeds has no official SDKs or plugins. You don't need one to integrate.
Any HTTP client
The API is plain JSON over HTTPS, so any HTTP client works. Every example in these docs uses curl, the built-in fetch in Node.js 18+, PHP's curl_* functions and Python's requests. Start with the quickstart.
Postman collection
Every endpoint, grouped like the API reference, with authentication already set up:
Download the Postman collection
- In Postman, choose Import and pick the downloaded file.
- Open the collection's Variables and set
clientIdandclientSecretto your test credentials from Dashboard → Developers. - Send any request. Postman gets an access token from
POST /oauth/tokenwith your credentials and adds it to every request. Requests that need anIdempotency-Keyget a new one on every send. To retry the same request safely, copy the key from the previous send into the header.
The collection is generated from the OpenAPI file each time these docs are published, so the two always match.
Keep live credentials out of shared Postman workspaces: anyone who can see the collection's variables can use them.
The OpenAPI file
The complete API contract is published as an OpenAPI file:
Use it to:
- Generate a client in your language with a tool such as OpenAPI Generator.
- Browse the reference in the API reference.
